House of Commons shortlisted in the inaugural UK Wedding Awards

The House of Commons has been shortlisted in the inaugural UK Wedding Awards in the ‘Best Historic Venue’ category.

Steeped in history, the imposing Palace of Westminster is a grade 1 listed building and part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and provides a magnificent and unique setting for any wedding celebration. Guests will experience a dramatic sense of occasion as they enter the monumental 900 year old Westminster Hall and pass through the breath taking Central Lobby before arriving in the House of Commons.

The House of Commons has two venues licensed with Westminster Council for the solemnisation of marriage and civil partnerships with further venues available for the celebrations afterwards. These impressive venues are exceptionally versatile and ideal for any wedding celebration; from a civil ceremony to an intimate reception or lavish wedding breakfast. All venues provide an historic backdrop for the picture perfect wedding along with the conveniences of the 21st century .

Using the skills and experience acquired from hosting glittering state occasions, our team of co-ordinators offer advice and inspiration making the planning process enjoyable and stress free. From the initial visit to planning the day’s details and menu choices, right up until the day itself, our team will be there every step of the way.
