Emerge Festival – ‘It Starts With You’ event at UK Parliament on Saturday 28 September from 6pm
29 August 2019
We are excited to announce that UK Parliament is one of the venues for the first Emerge Festival in September.
This is a chance to experience one of the world’s most famous buildings after hours. By taking part in a series of informal activities and engaging with Parliament’s friendly team members, find out how you can get your voice heard on the issues you care about.
Moving from room to room, you will also discover some amazing art and architecture; from medieval to surprisingly modern.
One thing that's really cool about this event
You will go inside the Chambers of the House of Commons and the House of Lords, usually reserved for MPs and Peers. You will be in the very place where passionate debates have, and continue to, take place. Order, order!
Is it for me?
The Emerge Festival is age 18 but otherwise this event is for everyone because what happens at UK Parliament impacts all our lives. With big issues on the agenda like climate change, knife crime and of course Brexit, there has never been a more important time to have your say. It really does start with you!
